iTunes Goes PC

Just downloading the PC version of Apple’s itunes. They’ve only just released the PC version and it’s supposed to be good. Shall be having a good play with it today. They supply 400,000 downloadable songs for 99cents a song, so not bad.

There is one major problem though, it currently only works if you have a US bank account.

Up North

Back home up north at the moment and spent most of the time sat infornt of MTV, TMF and The Box (hence the screenshot of Holly with the very catchy ‘State of Mind’). I’m really Loving the new Kylie track, its so simple, but so catchy. Trying to work out if she’s wearing contacts, her eyes seem far too white. The single, ‘Slow’ should go straight to number 1.

Also went to see Blackburn, only for them get knocked out of the UEFA cup, even though they played quite well. Oh well, always next year.

Jason Brooks

Having been going on about the images on the front of the Hed Kandi CDs, I finally found out who is responsible for them, an artist called Jason Brooks. Check out his website for more of the same.

A Short History

Just started reading Bill Bryson’s excellent, ‘a short history of nearly everything‘ that I got for my birthday. It’s very good. He manages to explain Science in the same style he does his travels. Funny and informative, perfect bedtime reading.

Miss Holmes

Travelling back from London yesterday passed the time by playing around with this picture of Katie Holmes (of Dawson’s Creek fame). The single item in colour has been done before (lots), the girl in Schindler’s List and MTV do it etc. but I still quite like it.

Posters Gone Wrong

Spent last week drawing a poster for an ideas board for a little computer company. Although the poster looked alright (I think) it wasn’t a complete success! Artwork copied and adapted from Hed Kandi
