Some days it’s best not to eat properly. It’s best to forget all the stuff that’s good for you and make something that you just feel like. I may not be the finest Michelin starred chef, but I make the world’s best cheese on toast. Just toast several slices of Tesco’s fresh rustic white bread. Cut the cheddar (full fat) cheese into several slices, place on top of toast and grill for a couple of minutes. Perfect!

Cheese On Toast

I think I have product packaging envy. For some reason, stuff “over there” just looks better, design-wise, than stuff here. It’s funny how over here, a lot of bread packaging is opaque (or opaque in places) and shows enough so you can tell what kind of bread you’re getting, but you don’t get the full experience like what I’m seeing above. (Or maybe you just take good pictures.) On the other hand, the cheese here is packaged in transparent wrappers so you can see exactly what you’re getting. I guess that sort of makes sense in a practical sort of way, but it’s not really pleasing to the eye.
That bread looks really yummy.

I think US Kellogs boxes look slightly different than UK ones, but only by using slightly different fonts and colours. It’s like they thought, “oh that box is never going to work in the UK, we need to make that logo 2pts smaller or nobody will buy it, there that’ll do.”
