Everyone at work is still very into Second Life, they’re all busy building and scripting stuff. It’s all very geeky but kinda fun, they’ve blogged about some of the things they’ve built here. I work with some very smart people. Just wait till Roo and Rob blog about the things they’ve made. Anyway, I’m not really into the scripting/building thing yet, but I did just have another look around and look what I found. A virtual water chute! It’s funny. Ok it’s nerdy and funny.

Cool. Don’t suppose you can share the location, can you? I was exploring today, myself, and this looks like fun…

Comment by beav — April 24, 2006 @ 12:52 amIt’s at a place called “Club Rainbow Tiger”… I couldn’t work out how to do the external URLs.
Comment by Darren — April 24, 2006 @ 8:16 amYou can landmark places in SL and drag them onto peoples profiles in SL.
http://slurl.com/build.php lets you build the SLURL the informaiton in the landmark is enought i.e. name and then x,y,z
Also, tou can add (in SL) to your profile favorite places, its like a de.li.c.o.us set of book marks associated to you.

Can’t wait to try out the water chute that Darren discovered. I also now have some cash. I tried building a couple of simple objects. The next thing to do is to hook up with the eightbar crowd. [...]
