Kelis has the smoothest voice I’ve ever heard.

If I was putting together a Lullaby playlist (and I should, as it will go well next to my Sleeping On An Aeroplane playlist) it would largely be made up of her songs. Think Lil Star, Flashback, Young Fresh n’ New and Millionaire. She’s hardly the traditional lullaby type, what with the explicit lyrics, arrests and rapper marriage, but I wish I’d had her on my first record player.

I really like California by Rogue Wave, in fact it was on my California 2007 playlist, obvious really. I always had a feeling it was a song I already knew. This morning, listening to an old Radiohead album, I worked it out. The start is identical to Thinking About You.

Anyway, they’re both better than Sugababes Vs Girls Aloud version of Walk This Way, which should have been great, but just doesn’t work.
