I’ve had enough of my clones, at least for a little while. I’ve always been more of a loner at heart. I’m sure they’ll be back.

My office wall is covered in photos, but they’ve been up since 2005, so are getting a little dated. I want to replace them, or at least add to them. Rather than just a random collection of my favourite photos, I think they should be related to the office itself. I can’t think of a better subject than the people I work with every day.

So I’ve started collecting. Once my flickr set fills up, I’ll print them and up they’ll go.

Today Sounds Like

Me: (ipod fiddling) “Hmmmm, what should I listen to… Today sounds like a Girls Aloud day”.
Graham: (pulling a disgusted face) “Today sounds like a BAD day”.

50 All Time Teenage Classics?

Given that I love lists and music lists in particularly, I’ve been studying The Guardian’s, 50 All Time Teenage Classics. There’s all the usual things you’d expect on there, Nirvana, Bowie, The Undertones, The Ramones, The Sex Pistols, but the one that caught my eye was Teenage Dirtbag, not the Wheatus version, but a Girls Aloud cover. I can cope with a little bit of Girls Aloud from time to time, so I was compelled to investigate… and it actually works. It’s completely impossible not to smile through it.

I’m really glad they included it in the list (I hope they weren’t being ironic), there’s more snobbery in music than anywhere else and it gets in the way of people listening to stuff that’s a lot of fun.

Ok don’t spend all day with it.

Tesco Know How To Get Kids To Eat Fresh Fruit…

… duh, just add alcohol. I don’t know what chemicals they mix to make that coconut liqueur dressing, but it tastes so nice it must be really bad for you.

This Must Settle It

Davina McCall just said, “Breakfast. Dinner. Tea”, just as it should be, none of this “lunch” nonsense.
