This Must Settle It

Davina McCall just said, “Breakfast. Dinner. Tea”, just as it should be, none of this “lunch” nonsense.

  • It’s weird, I always though Tea was something you could do all day, at anytime, so maybe your day would be like this: Breakfast (with Tea), Tea, LUNCH, Tea, Tea, Dinner, Tea. That’s probably more of how people should eat anyway, according to all those diet people, you should eat like 6 small meals throughout the day, so maybe your day would be more like: Tea, Tea, LUNCH, Tea, Tea, Tea.

  • Oh that’s proper tea, you can have proper tea anytime at all. :-) There’s a great site about how you should have that kind of tea.

With the food type of tea there is a divide between what it means in the South and North of England. Down South people have breakfast, lunch then dinner. They consider tea to be a snack between lunch and dinner. They’re going wrong though as they are really thinking of “high tea”. People up North have breakfast, dinner then tea. England is really complicated sometimes.

  • How about Breakfast, lunch, dinner/tea depending on the size of the evening meal?

Also, my Godmother told me that Dinner was the main meal of the day regardless of the time it is eaten.

But then I’m half northern, so I’m totally screwed.
