3 Things Wrong With English Football

Lots of people talk nonsense about the problems with English football being corruption, foreign players and wages. There are in fact three fundamental problems that do need fixing:

  1. While being interviewed, footballers referring to themselves in the 3rd person.
  2. The people who come over the tannoy system at football grounds, and worse, the inappropriate music they play.
  3. During international games, singers doing a stupidly high and long final “Queen” in the national anthem.

  • Haha, funny. Well thanks for raising the tone there Smack. :-P

“tannoy system” is British for public address system. I think it probably comes from the Tannoy who make speakers now. I think they used to make them for the Army and holiday camps that would broadcast messages to the soldiers and holiday makers.
