Lots of people talk nonsense about the problems with English football being corruption, foreign players and wages. There are in fact three fundamental problems that do need fixing:
- While being interviewed, footballers referring to themselves in the 3rd person.
- The people who come over the tannoy system at football grounds, and worse, the inappropriate music they play.
- During international games, singers doing a stupidly high and long final “Queen” in the national anthem.

“tannoy system” is British for public address system. I think it probably comes from the Tannoy who make speakers now. I think they used to make them for the Army and holiday camps that would broadcast messages to the soldiers and holiday makers.
