Tinfoil HeadAliens, The Man, my next door neighbours. They’re not getting into my head.

It’s a Sunday afternoon, there’s not much on telly, take a camera, add in a little Photoshop, you know how one thing leads to another… I have to say, I have a whole new appreciation for how uncomfortable, hot and sweaty it is to be a chicken, or a turkey dinosaur before they get put in the oven.

Builder’s Crack

I went to see Shibboleth at the Tate Modern. It apparently,

“Represents borders, the experience of immigrants, the experience of segregation, the experience of racial hatred. It is the experience of a Third World person coming into the heart of Europe. For example, the space which illegal immigrants occupy is a negative space. And so this piece is a negative space.”

Or as someone else said,

“This important work highlights an issue of concern to many people—shoddy builders.”

Either way, I thought it was fun.

Freakin Web Developers

I think I just found a flaw in Barclay’s online account management system.

The form you use to send them messages does a check for invalid characters. Fair enough, pretty standard thing to do, except they count the $ character as an illegal one. Not helpful when you’re trying to explain a problem to do with commission charged on a US transaction. The actual problem is also a computer science related one, but it’s just too complicated to try and explain. Never mind credit crunch, I’m £6.72 down. That’s like 10 cups of tea!

british museum

The Great Court at the British Museum. I’m not that bothered about any of the museum artefacts (though the Egyptian and Assyrian stuff is pretty interesting), but I could spend all day sat here and not get bored.
