I think I just found a flaw in Barclay’s online account management system.

The form you use to send them messages does a check for invalid characters. Fair enough, pretty standard thing to do, except they count the $ character as an illegal one. Not helpful when you’re trying to explain a problem to do with commission charged on a US transaction. The actual problem is also a computer science related one, but it’s just too complicated to try and explain. Never mind credit crunch, I’m £6.72 down. That’s like 10 cups of tea!
