Dinner time discussion on Tuesday, “If you were going to have a tattoo what would it be?” Suggestion for me by Andy and Alice.

  I think you need to make the sideburns of optional length to allow for the full Mick Channon circa 1973 style as well as the 80s mullet which my university mates and I preferred to style with a high cut from the top of the ear to the base of the fringe.

  Your attention to detail around your glasses is worryingly anal…!!!!

• I’ve not got a white one, but I do have a set of quality permanent markers in various colours that I’ll bring into the office next week. I’d imagine that using them will give you a temporary tattoo for a week or two so you can get comfortable with the design. Far better than rushing straight in and get the proper tattoo done since, just like a dog, a tattoo is for life (unless you want to have your head painfully lasered off not just for a drunken prank ;-).
